How the meter works.

What counts as a Chat Session?

A Chat Session is a conversation between an Owlish AI agent and a customer. In a single session a customer can ask multiple questions and receive multiple responses (from the AI, your operators, or both) until the session expires.

How is knowledge base measured?

By the indexed content extracted from your sources. After we crawl, OCR, or otherwise process a document, website, or upload, the extracted content is what counts toward your limit, not the raw upload size. A scanned PDF and its text equivalent count the same. Original uploaded files are retained separately and don't count against your knowledge base. Need more room? Add 10 MB at $19/mo, on any plan.

What about frontier models like Opus or future GPT?

Not in v1. Frontier models (Claude Opus, frontier GPT-class) are dramatically more expensive per message than Standard models, and we don't want to bake their cost into the base pricing for everyone. If you specifically need them, talk to us about a custom Scale plan with bring-your-own keys.

Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your billing settings in one click; proration is handled automatically. Annual plans renew yearly until you cancel, and you keep access until the end of the paid period.
